The owner, Teri French has been in the DJ business for 30 years. Our veteran team members have a minimum 5 years of experience. These are the guys who will be performing the bigger events such as weddings, corporate events and proms. Our apprentice DJ's go through extensive training, they start out at smaller events such as birthday parties and bar venues.
We only use professional grade equipment and lighting. Our wedding speakers alone start at $1200 per speaker. And that's just the speakers ! We are ready to rock with top of the line gear for your event.
The beauty of French Kiss Productions is our full staff. Its rare, but if there is an emergency we can always have a backup staff member at your event in a flash. All your files are cloud based so our staff has instant access to all your planning and timelines.
Absolutely! We do try to get all your music in advance in the planning process. This allows us to check the edits and versions. We will also take requests at your event, but ONLY if you want us to take request. We will mix them in at appropriate times.
We do not allow any outside sources to be plugged into our event computers or equipment. However, we can certainly get your music in advance and add it to the evenings playlist. This will also allow us to check the media n advance for any "hiccups" we want to avoid at your event.
We will reserve your date with a 20% deposit. This will be deducted from your total cost. Your balance needs to be paid at least 2 weeks before your scheduled event date. Deposits are non refundable. Payments can be made through our online planning system using a debit or credit card or PayPal account,
We do not include gratuity in the final contract price. 10-20% is generally recommended if your DJ did a great job, but it is entirely up to you. Each DJ is equipped with a card “swiper” and able to accept tips or additional payments at or after the event. You can also send through your planning system.
A good time frame is at least six to twelve months out for a wedding. Less for other events. However, we have DJs available for last minute events as well.
This is not required in our contract and is completely up to you. Typically, the catering director or event coordinator will set aside a meal or boxed dinner for the DJ if requested by the client.
Next to our DJ services, our most popular is the photo booths! The specialty lighting runs a close third. We also have specialty projections, giant movie screens for back yard movie night, pipe and drape and a ton of other add on services.
We would like for you to at least give your DJ 15-20 songs of different genres and artists you would like to hear, as well as songs/artists you don’t, so your DJ has an idea of what music you’d like for the different parts of the event. We don't mind if you select more, but don't get stressed out about figuring out music selections.
Yes we do! Our DJ company is insured for $2,000,000 and our Photo Booth company is insured for an additional $2,000,000. This is a question you should be asking ALL your vendors. Many venues require vendors to be insured.
Of course ! We have FANTASTIC professional props !
Absolutely! Not only will YOU get copies, but you get the preference of giving your guests access to digital copies as well. You also have the option to add a guest book, where where your guest add a photo and leave you a message.
